AIBEA Claims......

Considering the financial benefits and other improvements
under the Settlement,
it is one of the best settlements achieved by AIBEA so far.
(Comment: Employees thought that it is achieved by UFBU.
From the words of AIBEA, it is explicit that, all the blunder is done by AIBEA only)
Our Unions should take up the matter with the respective Head office/Central office of the Banks for expeditious implementation of the Settlement, payment of the revised emoluments and also disbursement of the arrears to the employees.

Levy payable by our members:
4% of the Net arrears (Gross Arrears - PF/NPS)
received by the members (before deduction of Income Tax)
The levy so collected as above will be apportioned as under:
For AIBEA :: 20%
For State Federations :: 40%
For Base Unions :: 40%
Needless to reiterate that wage revision is an occasion when members can contribute financially to the Unions.
Levy is mandatory and obligatory and is not to be treated as a donation.
Hence all our Unions at all levels should ensure that levy is collected from each and every member..............
AIBEA cir. Dt. 27.05.2015

Comrades, this is worst BPS in the history of wage revision in banking sector ,2% load after merger and introduction of special pay without superannuation benefits on it is total betrayal to the bank employees as a whole, and retirees in particular. This settlement is the sign that unions are the agent of IBA and have sacrificed the interests of the bank employers. Never in history, where 2& load was given after merger. The present leadership is no match with the old generation leaders like H L Parvana, Prabhat Kar or Tarakeswar Chakraborty. even Kamal Bhattacharyya.The leadeship lacks vision, intellect .
Think twice before giving LEVY to this leadership.

Dear Comrade Kumar, AIBEA is not repenting for the misdeeds. They have not felt ashamed of their wrong doings. They have not openly admitted the mistake and even not ready to give lip service to correct the anomaly. Under such circumstances, they can collect levy only from the people to whom they have worked. A fitting lesson awaits for them.

No body should give levy...The bank unions have cheated bankers and against a demand of 30% they compromise on 15%. They why these leaders are demanding levy, while we have lost 15% in our wage revision. who will pay for this loss. Further the multiplier factor for DA calculation has been reduced from 0.15 to 0.10 i.e. almost 33%. Now in coming days bankers will be the less DA paying employee. Who will compensate for this. All leaders are running only their shop...and no one is interested in bankers ACCHE DIN. So why union leader to enjoy ACCHE DIN by getting LEVY. All bankers requested not to give levy to union leaders.

Payment of levy is not obligatory. Go to Allbanking solutions where it is clearly explained the position. Dont pay levy. Nobody can afford to pay levy. Benefit of 8.5 % and asking for a levy of 4 %. What is it? Nothing is achieved by this settlement. Perpetual loss to all the employees in the next settlements and also retirement benefits. Throw away the leaders. Unite under 'We Bankers' Organisation.

All Bank unions leaders like UFBU, AIBEA should resign from the post imeadiately. They asked for 4% leavy for what. Totaly rubbish union.
I request all the members to refuse the payment of levy.

"Inko choolu bhar pani me doob kar mar jana chiye"

Create a wave so that we do not hsve to give levy. If five employees write a letter to union saying that they are not willing to pay levy and if they forward this signed letter to all their branches for information purpose only, then others will also come forward with the same type of letter. No one wants to be the first. The question is: who will be the first five employees? Who will bell the cat? I dont have those guts. Have YOU got those guts?. If you have them, show those guts. The whole banking employees will be grateful to you in their hearts

Is CHV running any charitable association. Try to run union with monthly union fee and don't loot workmen arrears by way of collecting levy. On an average 5 lakh members paying approx Rs. 2000 as levy works out to Rs.100 crores. What an amount? How it gets accounted.

I personally feel that, every time unions are deliberately delaying settlement for getting more levy from arrears.

No need to give leavy to any union for this worst settlement

I am ready for that but the fact is I don't take union as my repressentative then question comes in my mind that then writing letter to union is not justified
