Bipartite Talks held with iba today.

Offer improved to 10%.
We did not agree.

(IBA offered 6.2% increase, apart from 10% .
But this 6.2% is variable component based on performance/profit.)

IBA agreed that new payyscales will be by merger of DA at 6352 points.

There were discussions on mandate issue but it was inconclusive .

Circular follows.

IBA want to settle all issues but UFBU Leaders cleverly change the game as one sided. But these leaders don't know 'viwers know the reality'.

Whether merger of DA at 6352 points is also applicable for all pensioners?

If DA merge with basic pay at 6352 point. Wat will be the gross salary with increased in 10%.

Anil said...

Very good point please inform new basic with 10 percent increase

New Basic = ( Present Basic)*1.478*1.10

47.8% of DA will be clubbed with the old basic with 10% hike

levy @ what percent

Dear friends, for your kind information, 10% offer meant that pay slip components including BP, DA, HRA, TA etc., In that load factor on BP may be 1.5 or 2% only. So don't dream that total 10% will be loaded on BP. Because in last bipartite only 2% loaded on BP.

All boarders please note: 1. Union leaders post 1980 are self centered and maintain a tacit understanding with iba/bank managements by adopting live and let live policy. This nexus cannot be broken. 2. both the parties enact some drama before the settlements as they know that bank employees can be fooled at all times and this is reality. 3. pensioners are not their vote banks and therefore not one paisa benefit will be passed on. let us open our eyes at least now and achieve peace instead of breaking our head with unachievable dreams.

When will be next meeting with iba and unions

With all due respect sir when new entrants of the industry were forced to toe the line and accept NPS what were the bankers at that time doing. Now why do you want us youngsters to replenish your pension fund?! You reap what you sow.

There is no surprise that many bankers lack common sense as could be seen from their caustic comments about BJP. Post Pillai committee recommendations, the wages in the banking industry has witnessed decline and the gap between govt employees pay and bank employees pay has widened with every subsequent wage revision. BJP was no where in the picture then except for the coilation govt headed by Sri. Vajapayee for a term. Let all the bank employees go through the developments that have taken place from 5th bipartite settlement till the 10th settlement, it will become clear that it is the union leaders who have betrayed the employees and not the present govt. let better sense prevail. ofcourse, no force on earth can shake the union leaders and the employees have to accept whatever is thrown at them. this is harsh reality.

To check who play the game with honest bankers can be done by
V-recording all discussion held between IBA & Union Leaders.I am sure both sides will not accept v-record and publish as both are culprit.

What about the special pay then ??

Won't that be doubled to 15.5 instead of 7.75 ???

It is a part of Basic Pay right on which both DA and HRA applicable ?

Nothing ..it is not included in pension calculation or any DA ..WE LOST MANY OF OUR BENEFIT DUE TO PCA OR BANK EXPENDITURE CONTROL MEASURE BUT SOME GOVT EMPLOYEE ARE ENJOYING MANY BENEFITS INCLUDING OVERTIME ..WE NEED MORE THAN 15 PERCENTAGE HIKE SPECIAL PAY SHOULD BE MERGED WITH BASIC

But no where it is mentioned in the circulars issued by the constituents of UFBU.
