I would like to ask our beloved leaders as to why this urgency was not shown during election time? Is it because of the lesser levy that would have been due to them? Also, can they give a justification as to the selection of date of strike? Why 03/11 and 05/11 were not chosen as date of strikes? Is it not true that this strike will result in least inconvenience to all and sundry except the employees?

It s really pathetic when we compare the working condition and wages with other government sectors. It is injustice done to us , that even after 2 years the wage settlement has not taken place, where as rules, deadlines and targets are continuously given by management. As a young banker, it has come to the notice that the public is unaware of this wage revision and many still believes in the high salaries paid to bank employees. Efforts to make public aware of the actual plight of bank employees to be taken . Even in newspapers no ample coverage of the agitations and demands are found.
