It is totally useless to call for strike against mergers of PSBs at this juncture, since everyone including union leaders know that Government will not go back.
Instead UFBU should bargain for better wage revision at an early date.
IBA has called for proposals from Insurance companies for health insurance coverage.
IBA should be transparent in publishing the details of proposals received from other insurance companies.
When banks' boards have already approved mergers, why recruitment of staff. Possibly, banks might have given indent before the decision of mergers. However, recruitment of staff post these decisions of mergers have to be cancelled.
It is understood some PSBs are considering promotions before mergers, even after notifying with Stock Exchanges about board's approval for mergers.
It is totally unethical practice.
UFBU should issue notice for 3 day strike from 9th oct it will result closure of banks for 9 days.
What is performance linked pay.

Please don't give into the pressure of IBA.remember your capacity and unity as UFBU and the previous ten agreement signed by all the uniuons.
