  5. It is totally useless to call for strike against mergers of PSBs at this juncture, since everyone including union leaders know that Government will not go back.
    Instead UFBU should bargain for better wage revision at an early date.

  6. IBA has called for proposals from Insurance companies for health insurance coverage.
    IBA should be transparent in publishing the details of proposals received from other insurance companies.

  7. When banks' boards have already approved mergers, why recruitment of staff. Possibly, banks might have given indent before the decision of mergers. However, recruitment of staff post these decisions of mergers have to be cancelled.

    It is understood some PSBs are considering promotions before mergers, even after notifying with Stock Exchanges about board's approval for mergers.

    It is totally unethical practice.
