Letter received through e-mail!

Respected Hon. Prime Minister
ShriNarendraModiji,                                                                                                                                                                                Dt:20-09-2014
I am XXXXXXXX clerk in one of the nationalized bank in INDIA. You may/may not read this mail, but on behalf of 9 lak bankers I want to bring some facts to your notice.
1.       Sir, from last 4 decades the bankers became “Hell Boy”, who should serve the country, but no one thinks about his basic needs.
2.       For effective execution of welfare schemes to poor people, only hope is bankers. Bankers also ready to serve the INDIA and we put all efforts to success those welfare schemes even from Financial Inclusion to present PMJDY.
3.       Among all sectors in INDIA, Only banking sector generated profits even in 2008 economic recession.
4.       IBA in its first meeting with banking union, they offered 5% increase. I don’t know what should I comment on this. The only sector in India who got 5% offer (for period of 5 years) might be bankers only.(including Those IBA negotiation committee members).
5.       Sir,Forget about  living wage and fair wage, but we are struggling for minimum wage.
6.       Some people claiming that “Bankers are demanding high wage revision”, and I am requesting you to go through this following table and come to conclusion.

7.       Central government employees getting 33920/- whereas bankers getting 16644/- we are not demanding even equal to central government people but minimum wage revision.
8.       IBA has technical point like profitability (which is not true), Sir I am requesting you to go through the details of corporate written off and willful defaulters. ( “During the past 13 years what we see is that the banking system as a whole has written off more than Rs 1 lakh crore(upto 2013) in advances,” Chakrabarty, the senior-most of the deputy governors  at RBI, said.)
9.       Sir, If IBA is not ready to give wage revision, then please suggest us solution for this dead lock.
10.   Sir, please interfere in this matter to early settlement.
Low Wages and High Productivity is EXPLOITATION
Low Productivity and High Wages is CHARITY
Low Wages and Low Productivity is SUICIDE
High Wages and High Productivity is PROSPERITY”
(Source:Approach Paper by S.Srinivasan)

Sir, INDIA is enjoying ACHCHE DIN(good days) but not bankers. Please bring ACHCHE DIN to us also. Waiting for your favorable decision.

Regards,

Stupidity at its best.. Elect our union leaders properly.. We r united sector.. If unite properly n fight selflesly we no need to beg for our rights.. Instead of writing to PM lets just kick our union leaders.. They have failed in all respect.. No confidence guys...

I hav felt d toughness of exams of Central Govt jobs like SSC & UPSC, Comparing this with Banks... Plz don't compare the salaries.
2 years in Bank as P.O., Yet preparing for SSC CGL...
We get what we work for....

Yes, labour hard , compete in Govt Jobs and get paid more. Kisne roka h, talent h to compete for Govt jobs....
Its true that a new Inspectors salary is almost equal to a P.O

Guys, we don't have the daring to come to the streets n fight! Fine! But this seems a good idea! Let's do mass mailing to the Hon' PM Shri. Narendra Modi ji.
Let's do all mail individually to the Hon' PM and make it as a campaign! In next 3 days, this should cross at least one lakh mails to the PM.
I believe this will yield definite results!

Why IBA is not accepting the demands what our leaders says it should be telecast live our record should be download to AIBEA site. so that we will come to know the fact which happened behind the screen.

because of growing work pressure and reduction in staff strength in view of opening new branch, the concept a banker has to worked beyond his working schedules is getting a momentum.if it so happens he has to be rewared for his extra work according to his login and logout time stree on monthly basis.if his work is beyond his monthly sheduled working hours he has to be rewarded as bounus as per the copany act

Your pay comparison chart is wrong!please get your facts right.Central Govt pay scale starts with PB-1 5200/- WITH A GRADE PAY of
1200/-

IT IS VERY SURPRISED TO SEE THAT OUR RESPECTABLE LEADERS ARE SO UNAWARE ABOUT THE PRESENT REQUIREMENT OF THEIR COMRADE FRIENDS IN RESPECT OF RATE OF HRA. IF THEY CANNOT ESTIMATE, MUST TAKE THE HELP OF THE RECOMMENDATION OF 6TH PAY COMMISSION AS IT CLASSIFIED THE CITY AND ITS RATE OF HRA AS FOLLOWS

POPULATION
ABOVE 50L METRO & A1 @ 30% OF B PAY
BT 50-05L B1 & B2 @ 20% OF B PAY
BELOW 05L C & OTHER @ 10% OF B PAY

AUTHENTICATION ON THIS REGARD TO BE OBTAINED FROM THE NOTIFICATION ISSUED BY GOI FOR 6TH PAY COMMISSION. FOR THE FUTURE COURSE OF ACTION THE 7TH PAY COMMISSION IS RECOMMENDING HRA AS PER EXISTING RATE OF THE CITY.SO SIR PLEASE LOOK INTO THE CORE INTEREST OF YOUR DEDICATED COMMARE IN BANKS FOR WHOM THIS MATTERS FOR DAY TO DAY REQUIREMENTS.

the education expenses in central govt is 2500 per month for 12 months. The education expenses in banks is 2000 for entire financial year thus only 150 per month adn not 500 monthly as shown. So reduce the pay of clerks by 350 more in banks in your table.

It is very disappointing & shame for UFBU that they are unable to prove its points/agenda to IBA & Govt.

And I am surprised to see the attitude of IBA.What is the point of talking of talk with IBA when they have become deaf.

A similar Pay Commission should be established for Bankers also.
