This is very right step by the IBA.None of the Association Neta has any educational qualification or integrity to understand the issues of higher bank officers.Bank would definitely give them much better pay than what they would get if these netas like Nair etc. negotiate.
By the way what's the age of Nair, when did he retire from service and what is he doing here? All such dead wood should be shown the door out of the Banks, let alone to be allowed to participate in negotiations.

Gratuity Rules Likely To Change Soon.
LATEST NEWS Updated: July 11, 2017 19:59 IST
The Gratuity Amendment Bill seeks to make workers eligible for up to Rs. 20 lakh tax-free gratuity.
All India | Edited by Surajit Dasgupta | Updated: July 11, 2017 19:59 IST
The bill which seeks to double the tax-free gratuity limit to Rs. 20 lakh, from Rs. 10 lakh, is likely to be pushed for passage in the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament, beginning July 17, said Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya. "This is on our agenda. It may come in this session (monsoon). It will soon go to the Cabinet for approval," the labour minister told Press Trust of India. The draft bill, however, is yet to be scrutinised and approved by the Union Cabinet.
Earlier in February, the central trade unions had agreed on the proposal in a tripartite consultation with the labour ministry.
The unions had also demanded the removal of the condition of minimum five years of service for payment of gratuity.
Trade unions had also demanded that the amended provision regarding maximum amount should be made effective from January 1, 2016, as done in the case of central government employees.
BANKERS/INSURANCE /PSU/PVT SECTOR STAFF WHO HAVE RETIRED/EXPIRED AFTER 01012016 are requested to send emails message to their union leaders that Gratuity ceiling enhancement is made effective from 01012016 at par with Central Govt employees, RBI staff so that every worker who has retired/expired after 01012016 and those who are likely to retire in due course get direct benefit varying from Rs. 5 to 10 lacs each with enhancement of gratuity to Rs. 20 lacs.
PLEASE PASS ON THE MESSAGE TO MAXIMUM PEOPLE WHETHER WORKING IN BANKS/ INSURANCE /PSUS/PVT SECTORS FOR BENEFIT OF ONE AND ALL.
REGARDS
