Jan Dhan scheme

Bank Employees asked more wages from Government!
Honourable P.M. NAMO Obliged to give!
Of course, not more wages ,but more Work!

Yes, Bank employees should work 8A.M. to 8P.M on Saturdays
to open New accounts under Jan Dhan scheme.
Do the Finance Ministry knows that the accounts opened under Jan Dhan are duplicate, triplicate and quartiplicate?
Yes, those who already having bank accounts have opned new accounts
in the same bank or the other, to avail the benefits that are announced
along with new account.
Jan Dhan account is only an extention of Financial inclution scheme by UPA.

We , bank employees, have seen several times in the past,
these type  of popular schemes and pressure given by
Government authorities to finish before a targested date,
right from the days of Mr. Janarthana Pujari of Congress in 1980s.

The purpose of these scheme is to give some benefit to people and get their vote.
If the Government is more serious about including all the citizens in to banking
habit, it should open more and more bank branches in unbanked rural areas.
Ask private banks also to follow Govt. guidelines.

Nowadays, bank employees are considered as NGOs.
They should not ask for compensation for this extra time work.
In future bank employees may be asked to reduce their salary.

Reports from News Papers!

Jan Dhan camps by banks on all Saturdays, 1.84 cr A/Cs opened
By PTI | 29 Aug, 2014, 07.01PM IST-Economictimes.

NEW DELHI:
Over 1.84 crore bank accounts have been opened under the
Jan Dhan scheme and banks will organise camps from 8 am to 8 pm
on all Saturdays to reach out to unbanked households,
the government said today.

"It has been decided that henceforth, the banks will be holding such camps
on weekly basis, from 8 am to 8 pm on all Saturdays so that the
target of covering unbanked households is achieved well in time,"
a finance ministry statement said.
It further said that beneficiaries, who already have a bank account,
are also eligible to take benefits of accident insurance of Rs 1 lakh
and life insurance of Rs 30,000 under this scheme by getting a RuPay card
issued from their bank branch before January 26, 2015.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday launched the
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, a mega financial inclusion scheme,
to cover about 7.5 crore unbanked households.
The statement said  more than 70,000 camps were held all over the country
and 1,84,68,000 accounts were opened.
Under the scheme, a person from an unbanked household, opening an account will get
a RuPay debit card with a Rs 1 lakh accident insurance cover.
An additional Rs 30,000 life insurance cover will also be given if the accounts are
opened till January 26, 2015.
"The modalities of this additional life cover are being worked out by the
Department of Financial Services," the statement added.

I do not understand why the Govt. is targeting the PSBs for opening of accounts for the 7.5 crores unbanked families. They are having Post offices almost in all Villages and thro' the Post office they can easily open the Savings Bank Accounts and pass the subsidy and other payments to the unbanked people. In Metro, Urban and Semi Urban places, almost all the families have their accounts with either PSBs or Private Banks. The reason behind the motive being, the Post Office staff have a Strong Union which is functioning for the welfare of their members. Whereas the union leaders in the PSBs are SPINELESS, DEAF & DUMB AND EVEN BLIND. See, the Finance Ministry has instructed that the bank staff has to work 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM on saturdays for the success of the Prathan Mantri Jan Dhan Scheme. BUT THE UNION LEADERS WHO HAVE TO OPPOSE THIS, HAVE GONE UNDERGROUND.

Dear prime minister
Congratulations for successful implementation of Jan dhan yojna. we as a banker and as a person appreciate this scheme of yours. We like to congratulate each n every colleague banker for making this scheme successful but at the same time can u please answer some of our questions:

1. Why there is no defined working hours of bankers.

2. Why we are least paid sector in the country despite being a sector of highest growth rate.

3. Where is your 100 days wage revision plan.

4. Is 13% wage hike is justified in a country where inflation is 5 to 10% and the banking sector is the most profitable.

5. No incentive for a hardworking banker who works 9 to 9.

6. Are bankers human beings.

7. Who is responsible for suicides by bankers and who will take care of his/ her family afterwards.

8. Why there is no social life for bankers.

9. Why there is nothing recreational in a banker's life.

10. Why most of the bankers are deprived of their family/ home town most of the time in their service.

11.Why there is 3 year 5 year transfer policy.

12.Why there is lesser holidays in banks than other govt depts.

13. Why not 5 day week or shifting in banks if all other govt depts are having 5 day week.

and many more unanswered questions.

Always Your faithfully
