Negotiation took place today. 
As UFBU went on strike, 
IBA went back to their offer of 13.5%, 
withdrew offer of 5/7 days PL encashment, 
informed 5 day banking is not possible & 
loading is 2%.

After discussion it was agreed that 
*hike will be 15%, 

*IBA not against 5 day banking will take up with Govt,

*a small committee will be formed to work out on increasing load from 2% 

*& spl allowance merger will be open for discussion, 

*IBA will share data of pensioners with UFBU.

With this understanding the "Strike & Agitation Programme stands deferred."

    1. In 7th cpc employees who are posted at a centres and draw hra they got 24.6% increase and without hra employees got 13.5% increase and cpc is after 10 years, not like banks settlement every 5 years

  7. Earlier iba gave circular of 19 % and they strike for 2 days now 5 day pl withdrew and offer is 15 % load %2 as was earlier and 5 days banking is not possible and strike deferred wow what a understanding under the table we are foolish that we listen you and cut salary for you

  16. 15% was offered much earlier. UFBU thinks we are fools. Where is the improvement? Why did they withdraw the strike? Why do they call strike? UFBU is a bunch of Idiots, bastards and liars. Why was assurance given to us that talks will start from 15%? Why did that F****R VCH tell that settlement will be signed within 1 month in Dec 2019? To tell lies u don't have to pay tax, isn't it? The only solution---- mass boycott from unions and no levy this year to these rascals.....

  23. A Great opportunity is lost. We could have made IBA settle the things as March strike is going to play a vital damage.
    What made them to call off the strike in a hurry before the conciliation act.What ever harsh comments they are facing in social media , no one should feel bad.They really deserve it. IBA made them corrupt. They might have been offered some packets in sealed covers or some contracts

They don't have place even in hell.   26. Even after this backstabbing by Unions, none of us is going to leave the union. Most of us will also give the levy. Why?? Because we are common bankers and we fear for our transfers, fear for our promotions, fear to suffer the worth of ZMs and union leaders. When I joined the bank 15 years ago, I was non-member. My then ZM suggested (forced) me to join a particular union quoting that, the “Union people can’t do any good to common banker but they certainly can do bad if any one go against them. The union fee we are paying is a kind of Protection Money we paying to be in peace.” In my bank, even top executives DGM, GM rank still gives this protection money to the unions (not through check-off system but annual subscription through cheques.

    Union Leaders very well knows this fear and compulsion of ours and encashing on it. Whatever bad words/ curse we can give, we can only write it here but we can’t gather the courage to resign from union or raise our voice against paying the levy.

    This is the reality. We are suffering because of our fear and Selfiessness.

  32. If IBA threat us to come down at 13.5 percent from 15 percent we should fight for it and our demand should be increased and should not deffered the strike if you can not fight than we should go for CPC.

The levy amount how much it may be, will automatically deducted from our arrears, where check off facility is with these unions are there... otherwise you have to give it in writing instructing the hrm salary section... not to deduct any amount towards levy cost..... OR prior to release of arrears, we have to resign from their resp unions giving letters to hrm, and ensure that its updated in the payroll system well before the disbursement... otherwise once deducted amount reversal or recredit will create administration problems...... take care of it...

    Dear Canpals,

    1. I am thankful and proud of you that you have been extending full support to our endeavour to achieve decent wage settlement to the officers.

    2. But very unfortunately, the yesterday’s development is not going to result any notable improvement in the financial well being of the Bank officers life and it cannot be matching to the RISK, RESPONSIBILITY, TRANSFERABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY borne by the Bank officers.

    3. Our logical and legal arguments are not listened by both the IBA and organisations.

    4. Though the officers organisations expressed explicitly the aspirations of the officers in demanding new but universal formula in fixing decent wages for the officers, IBA never changed its stand since beginning and offered shamelessly 2% and the organisations also did not demand the formula which was accepted by the lacs of cadres.

    5. 15% was offered during the last discussion itself and rather IBA in its advertisement against the strike mentioned that the offer was 19%.

    6. We really wonder what the new development now and we hurriedly called off the agitations.

    7. Even after 2 1/2 years, we are unable to mention the outcome of the understanding in concrete terms, which is indeed a disrespect to the literate lots of bank officers.

    8. The IBA which has submitted a counter claimed that they are not having legal status to finalise the wage revision is continuing the negotiations.

    9. Organisations, did not come out with a statement why IBA took such illogical stand after signing 10 settlements and why we could not pursue the demands mentioned in the COD.

    10. In this background, disappointed by the developments, we continue to study the various options available to us in securing the decent wage revision to the officers and OUR COMMITMENT TO SECURE SUCH SALARY BY ACHIEVING OUR BASIC DEMANDS OF

    A.Minimum wages formula as it was employed in CPC

    B.Officers salary equivalent to Grade A officers salary in the GOI

    C. Running scale of pay

    D. Updation of pension

    E. Scrapping of NPS

    will continue in all the possible ways.

      The illegal & irresponsible entity called IBA itself claims it's not a legal entity n have no authority to negotiate or decide issues
      The most irresponsible unions (as per the version of IBA) however are always willing to discuss (?) Crucial wage revision matters only with IBA
      From the above its very evident that the unions are not only irresponsible but corrupt as well playing with the lives of lakhs of bank employees both serving& retired
      Why not some really concerned n responsible organisations take legal steps to get a stay for the never-ending bipartite talks by these illegal n irresponsible parties paving the way for real solutions of major concerns of both serving as well as retiree bank employees

  54. Most illiterates do not understand that monetary value of any unutilised PL upto 240 days is already part of wage settlement. So by giving 5 days pl encasement IBA is not doing any favour at all. All this is dirty tricks played by CHV and IBA. HANG CHV IMMEDIATELY.
