Humari salary hike se CTC badh gaya. But Nirav Modi, Vijay malaya ko benefit dene se banking industry dubi kyu nahi.

  2. If it was 12%, I should consider leaving banking industry. At least I'll live happily and healthily by even doing farming or keeping a Xerox shop opposite to my SBI branch...

    2. I don't want my life to be a joke.. of course nobody wants for that matter. Given the quantum of pressure and risk that we take, don't you think 12% was a joke??

  9. *XI Bipartite Settlement*

In today's meeting of Main Negotiating Committee two major Unions of officers did not come to participate. They are AIBOC, NOBO. Like last meeting, they continued their boycott on the issue of fractured mandate.

The issue is IBA did not agree to negotiate for officers beyond scale III. Because a few Banks did not give IBA mandate to negotiate beyond scale III.

IBA clarified that they have showed willingness to negotiate for officers upto scale V. AIBOC & NOBO remained firm on usual negotiation upto scale VII. So they did not turn up for today's meeting.

At the very beginning IBA put forth it's dilemma about what to negotiate? As there are many common issues.

Even though IBA showed willingness to discuss about Workmen issues as majority officer Association AIBOC & NOBO were not present.

Differences within UFBU came forth on whether to go ahead and have negotiations. Despite IBA giving them time to settle, no agreement was reached.

Hence today's meeting was postponed by IBA. After consulting all Unions next date will be decided and conveyed.

In short, NO TALKS were held today. Meeting postponed

  10. Let us ask the govt to form a seperate commission for bankers wages on the footsteps on CPC.
    Other than the bipartite.
Who all are in for putting up a demand with Management and Fin Ministry should form and give a seperate mandate.
Let us seperate wage negotiations and settlement from unions they should be limited to only welfare of its subscribers other than wage settlement such as creating awareness towards bank policy and norms, safeguarding the interest of its subscribers that to other than wages. (as most of unions are unable to achieve and fulfill their duties with the wage negotiations). This will eventually happen later on and we have to be ready for it.
It is probably the right time to put up such demand.
I am happy that I am in a union but not happy with their performance and approach.

  11. 12% after 5 years means each year 2.4% what is this?.... at least compare with private sector they will get per year 2 digit increment. and here our union treat banking employee like slave. most employee travel every day 50-70KM on bike all favored union member get job close to home or in central office.i saw many close union member posted on rural area and seating in center office... and the needed person travel everyday 100km.........

so this union never helping the real needed member for simple posting as required than think what they will do for us for bipartite settlement.. nothing

    1. Sir, although I am also looking for a better settlement, your above mentioned comment is factually wrong.
Private companies do provide increment of more than 2.4 %, how can you conveniently forget yearly increment we get? In total we get more than 10% increase every year considering yearly increment and DA. And yes we do enjoy better job security than the private sector.

Let us have our firm demand but without spreading negativity.

  18. After 18 of service there is no regular increments stagnation after three years we loose approximately ten to twelve increments so 10 or 12 or 15 percent increase will only compensate those increments . Where as in central government regular increment and pay commission gives decent hike. In banks we loose. And then get 2 percent. How can you say .
That c h venkatchalam should not be blamed. Ufbu has not demanded .Even regular increments

  20. Everybody is blaming CHV for his negative statement on pension updation, then how he has been elected or selected as GS of AIBEA even post retirement from service. Are they all fools who elected him? Another point as to why AIBOC/NOBO fight for scale vi/vii officers? Are they members or do they participate in agitational programme or cut their salaries on strike-day? It is not understood. However their stand for pension updation is commendable unlike Mr. Harvinder Singh.

  21. Everyone is blaming c h venkatchalam. As he showed satisfaction for 10 percent. As already stated above. We already have lost 10 to 15 increments in entire service span. More over how he was elected .and how he can be removed . Like me many don't know . Till .he is there. Forget decent hike when he already stated that 10 percent is more than 10th
    Settlement

  22. Why not to blame chv as he showed 10% hike upto satisfactory level. Can he explain why bankers salary get lowered and lowered with passage of time. Does bankers do not need financial support to raise their living standard. Why hike above 40% is given under CPC.
