Sub : 11 th Bipartite Settlement.

On 3rd Oct 2017, one more round of Meeting of the Core Group (Workmen) took place on IX th Bipartite Settlement.

The meeting was purely for Non - Financial Issues.

Demands Discussed:

1.  Increase in T.A. / Reimbursement of Petrol Cost : IBA says 'different Banks have their own different Schemes.' Unions should take up this issue with individual Banks.

2.  Voluntary Cessation of Service : Union wants deletion of these provisions. IBA said they will discuss this issue internally. No decision taken on this issue today.

3.  Better Compensation on Transfer on Deployment Policy : At present it is Rs. 400 pm. Discussion to continue.

4.  Expenses while on Transfers : Enhancement will be considered at the time of final Financial Package.

5.  Improvements in Medical Insurance Scheme :
These issues will be discussed during exclusive meeting on this matter on Friday, 06 th October, 2017 at 3 pm.

6.  Bonus for all employees without any ceiling :
Bonus is paid as per Payment of Bonus Act. So IBA expressed it's inability to accept this demand.

7. Staff Loans :
For all types of Staff Loans individual Banks are having different Schemes. IBA can't interfere. But IBA may "request" Banks to consider One full month's salary as Festival Advance.

8.  Uniform Guidelines on Fitment for Ex - Servicemen :
IBA to take up this matter with Govt of India.

9.  Physically Challenged / Differently Abled Employees :
a. IBA may consider positively demand for Revision of Conveyance Allowance paid to these employees.
b. Tentatively it is accepted that married handicapped daughter irrespective of age to be defined as Dependent if she fulfills criteria for "dependent"  incomewise.

10.  Revision in Criteria / Ceiling of Dependents' Income : Discussion to continue. But IBA gave positive signal.

There will be one more meeting of Core Group (Workmen) on 24 th October, 2017 at 11.30 am.

  1. Is this is a agenda to be discussed once in a month. Full of time waste. No improvements in any direction except in backwards. This union going to kill bank employees forever. They don't learn lessons even after seeing 7TH pay commission standards. These unions are there only to deceive its own banking employees. I feel how bank employees selected these kind of unprofessional stuff to represent them which will decide their life's of 5 valuable years. Union members - please open your eyes and try to help your members at least this time unlike last time. Please stop playing with employees life's. we have seen your capability in medical policy for retirees. please don't play with 8 lakhs of people and their family life's. Keep this in mind. hope god helps you to open your eyes and raise your voice in right direction.

  3. As long as Shri.CHV is there, nothing will happen. At the eleventh hour, when everybody loses their patience and allow something to happen, Shri. CHV will enter into the arena and declare 1 day strike and after 4 months 2 day strike followed by CHV's victorious statement that Govt. refused to give anything and I fought to get 5 percent overall increase. By 'Record Note" he has created one more class of retirees in the last BPS. Now, he will sign 'Record Npte II and create another class of Retirees. AIBEA Jindabad ! Long live CHV !

  10. The same old story continues. The union leaders continue to betray the employees. The Management is hand-in-glove with unions. The employees cry against the attitude of the unions. What is not comprehensible is that though this trend is observed since the last 4 to 5 settlements, no employee has dared to initiate a movement to dethrone the corrupt union leaders. If employees continue to elect the same species of leaders why cry only at the time of wage settlements.

  13. Union leaders have no negotiating skills and they have lost in every settlement. It is better they should simply demand what is being paid to central government employees be implemented in Banks. Union members are faithful but the leaders are either incapable or taking other advantages.

They are just acting that they are negotiating something but everything has been already planned.. I do not have any faith in these unions.
