                      “ it was mutually clarified and understood that ‘Retirees’ would mean and include employees/officers who have retired on normal superannuation, those who have retired under VRS/Special VRS and families of the PF optees who had died during the period all of whom would be eligible for the pension option. “

IBA has agreed that another option will be given to join the pension scheme for the following
e)      Those who were in PF and in service on the date of Pension Regulation 1995/96 and have taken voluntary retirement from service.
     LATER ON IT IS ANNOUNCED THAT RESIGNED PF OPTEES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE

13.04.2010  RATE OF CONTRIBUTION ANNOUNCED 1.6 TIMES FROM ALL EXISTING EMPL.
 16.04.2010   CASE FILED BY PENSION OPTEES AND NOTICE SENT TO IBA AND ALL BANKS
26.04.2010   ALL UNIONS ARE FIRM ON 1.6 AND GAVE LETTER TO IBA STATING THAT THEY ARE NOT AGREEABLE TO 2.8. AND GAVE LETTER TO IBA .
27.04.2010  ALL UNIONS SIGNED ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF IBA TO RECOVER FROM
                    PF OPTEES ONLY AT 2.8 TIMES. WHAT HAPPENED ON 26TH NIGHT?
