  5. Spineless leaders are still begging for early wage settlement even after two years. I am glad these union leaders are old, otherwise their wives would have left them for their impotency to service. what a great leaders you are. Discussion about salary hike is not discussed till now. what a great acheivement.

  6. Probably IBA will come back on these issues to discuss with UFBU some time in 2020 as usual...

  8. Ye meeting karwachoth manane ke liye this. Or Diwali ki strategy ke liye thi. Union me sab kuch bola magar ye nahi bola ki IBA ne Kya kaha.

  9. How long these meetings and dialogue will take place?why there is no time frame from UFBU side?how many more such meetings are required to reach final settlement? Very very frustrating.

  10. When govt and iba wants to implement its programs it is matter of few days. Work or program are done with bullet speed and in case of wage revision months and years goes in discussion only.why this double standards? UFBU is duty bound to tell it's members what they will do in next 15 to 20 days.

  13. So our leaders once again read out the demands, had the snacks and came back happily. Really a great job done. This is the appropriate utilisation of members subscription and levy.
    Hats off to them

  21. What an achievement. Never heard before.

  22. Instead of begging for improvement of offer in every meeting, UFBU may do some homework with minimum acceptable increase atleast equal to CPC scale or LIC type increase, for that if IBA is not willing, go for indefinite strike

    ReplyDelete
  23. Minimum 10days strike required start from 2nd monday or 4th monday

  30. unions, iba and govt all should feel shame, sale bjp and iba must be boycotted but our leaders never dare to do that, we should show our gand to all three

  31. In last 2 years 12% so take 2 more yaers and get us 24% hike or 4 more and 36% hike Take your time we are not in hurry

  32. it is sad and depressing that UFBU is not sticking to its charter of demand, according to which the starting pay scale of a clerk should match with its counterpart in central Government and similarly the starting salary of grade one officer in bank to be matched with grade one officer of central government. Hence to negotiate on percentage hike in salary becomes meaningless, hollow and pointless.

Government has recently came out with minimum wage policy approved by the Cabinet and therefore the bipartite should be discussed in consonance with minimum wage policy, which cleanly & undoubtedly emphasizes that grade one officer of PSU including banks and insurance sector should match with grade one officer of central government. one of the bank officer has petitioned in High Court bench of Madurai in this regard and Honorable High Court has issued notices to IBA & DFS for keeping the spirit of the minimum wages approved through Gazetted Notification.

UFBU should therefore proceed in negotiations on the above lines.

    1. Yes.
      Sadly true.

And only cboa and your cboa is taking all possible means to make it happen.

Legally, CBOA has filed a writ petition in Madurai HC and writ petition was admitted on the basis of merit.

Further ,again to come over some technical glitch our CBOA'S ex officio filed a writ petition and brought AIBOC , CBOA as joined as a party and summoned GOVT OF INDIA , DFS ,IBA, UFBU , GM HR WING , CANARA BANK in this and historical judgement has been passed by Honourable HC in our favour.....

Shall we not vow to get aligned and empower your CBOA to fight against all the odds?

Think , NOW OR NEVER !

  33. This five years (2017-2022)demands raises time,I think today asked for early settlement about 12TH bipartite.

We feel you must be tired as for the last two years you are putting your charter of demand in every meeting and all of us are waiting what next. Please have some. Drugs.if you can't sleep as you people must be under stress because there is no progress so all of us are very much worried about you leaders. If you people take sleep and when you get up. 36. 1. Government adopted the minimum wages formula from 3rd CPC onwards.

    2. Parliament passed the code on wages ACT with the principle stand on minimum wages formula.

    3. The bill was vetted and supported by AITUC, CITU and BMS. During the ALL INDIA STRIKE CALLED BY THE CENTRAL TRADE UNIONS, THE EMPLOYEES ORGANISATIONS in the BANKING SECTOR demanded 18000 MINIMUM WAGES.

4.Supreme Court upheld the decision of Delhi government in giving the wages under minimum wages formula.

5.Government of India’s Cabinet committee equated the scale I officers with Grade A officers in deciding benefits to be extended on the income basis.

    6. All the four officers organisations submitted the COD demanding the minimum wages formula and equivalent to Grade A officers salary.

    7. Even the recent strike notice issued by four officers organisations reiterated the same.

    8. High court Madurai bench appreciated the demand and admitted the writ three times on three DIFFERENT GROUNDS.

    9. Government did not say that the code on wages act is not applicable to bankers where as they are covered under the Act.

    10. IBA did not say that it is not possible to give salary under code on wages act by adopting minimum wages theory.

    11. Rather, IBA told that THEY ARE NOT THE LEGAL ENTITY.

    12. Almost all the major banks provided 15% towards wage revision in their respective balance sheets as on March 2019 itself.

13.BUT, WE ARE DISCUSSING FROM THE HUMILIATING 2% TO 12% AND HOPEFUL OF SIGNING SHORTLY WITH SOME IMPROVISED OFFER.

    14. FIVE DAY BANKING IS A COMPROMISE TO SETTLE THE SALARY WHICH IS TOTALLY UNFAIR AS BOTH DEMANDS ARE HAVING DIFFERENT BASIS AND PLATFORM AS ONE IS MONETARY RELATED AND ANOTHER ONE IS NON MONETARY.

    15. When DA is INCREASING EVETY THREE MONTHS and ARREARS WAS GIVEN AS ONE MONTH SALARY,
What is the need to accept SOMETHING AGAINST OUR DEMAND AND OUR RIGHT in the name of QUICK SETTLEMENT?

    ANYTHING AGAINST

    1. Minimum wages formula
    2. Salary to Scale I equivalent to Grade A officers.
    3. RUNNING SCALE OF PAY.
    4. Updation of PENSION

CANNOT BE ATTRACTING AND RETAINING THE TALENTED YOUTHS TOWARDS / IN THE BANKS.

Also it cannot ENSURE THE PARITY AMONG THE BANKERS EVEN.

  37. If u have raised/discussed the above points today then what u did since 2017 The charter of Demand which u have submitted is it just to fool us pl video record your complete negotiations process & circulate the same so that members can know your skill of barging
