9.00 P.M. news…..

UFBU decides:
4 days strike put on hold
As IBA assured to resolve issues in next meeting
to be held in first week of Feb ,I
f issues are not resolved
again fresh strike notice for 4 days strike
at the end of feb 2015

Vishwas utagi
Vice President AIBEA.

Similar news came from other unions also.

It is said in the above message that
“IBA assured to resolve issues in next meeting”

When assured? Today?
If so, Whether any meeting took place between IBA and UFBU today?
Any intervention by Lanour commissioner?
Then, who are all participated?
What is details of discussion?
Any improvement in offer?
Under what terms IBA will resolve the issue?

As for my knowledge and everyone’s knowledge that
This week there are letters exchanged between IBA and UFBU.
UFBU asked twice to arrange for a meeting but IBA has not arranged and
Informed , it will close the whole process by mid Feb 2015.

Announcing strike and cancelling it, without improvement
( that too after two years) is not correct.

Will the unions answer these questions on their circulars tomorrow?

Collective bargaining and unity among  unions is appreciated.
But unity for what? To increase benefit or to decrease?

Is it a nine man show?

Or ONE MAN show?

7.05 p.m
Qureies are flooding like anything thro' sms, phone call and e-mail on the following ......

1. Whether Labour commissioner or IBA called for any meeting on   wage revision on today or tommorrow?
2. Whether sub group committee meeting on issues of award staff
and on medical insurance held today as sheduled?
    anything to share?
3. Whether UFBU meeting is being held as sheduled from 5.00p.m     today?
4. What is the fate of strike call from 21.01.2015 onwards?

I am to say that no news/information/communication comming from
any of the nine unions till this minute.

Pl. wait. I will update whenever I receive any authenticated news.

Till such time do no beleive/spread any rumours.

Some fun lovers/union haters create news on their own and spread thro' social media and whatsup message.(like in the past)
and innocent comrades forward them to thier freinds without knowing the truth.

If this is the attitude of comrades on wage revision think about
what will be the bragaining power of unions?

Pl. keep ur comments frozen till any news coming officially.

  17. Sir,

Simply calling for next meeting or closing the issue by a date will deffer the strike...If that is the case since 27 months why it was not done...?? What was the improvement ? U all said if there is no improvement then strike stands ? Then do let us know what is the improvement ? Why we are all striving for existence..? our work is not recognised...? Still How many settlements this sort of funny incidents has to happen... ?? Justify yourself by questioning the delay my dear seniors...?

  23. There is no surprise to hear that at all bcz we already know it will be deferred again, now strike on hold without any improvement in talks, how sad to say that? I think UFBU will face severe criticism from our employee since we missed out opportunity to get good hike for 4 days strike at important time. I dont think UFBU can give good solution to hike, 5 days working etc., let us see what UFBU says for holding strike?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Why again we will go for strike? Till now why? Because we are cowards and we quiet and loss the battle before war.so, we are shame on ourselves why we select the one type of cowardly leaders who are loss without war.

  31. As usual, AIBEA leaders in UFBU sold their commerades and gave a balidhan of their fellow bankers at the altar of their masters - IBA and Government. Now expect a settlement at the choice of IBA. Even when other unions like NOBW , NOBO, AIBOC etc were willing to go on strike, why not AIBEA. The communist commerades once again showed their closeness to Management for which they are getting regular rewards.

    Hearty Congrulations once again commerades

  32. This is the time when iron is hot.All brothers and sisters working in banks in Delhi should put in their all out efforts to ensure that BJP does not get any seat in Delhi elections and AAM ADAMI PARTY wins all 70 seats. This will be a resounding slap on the face of IBA and the Modi Govt.

  42. UFBU SHOULD URGE MR.OBAMA,WHEN HE REACHES INDIA, TO INTERVENE THE MATTER.IT APPEARS, THE IBA & THE GOVT.VERY WELL UNDERSTAND, HOW TO BEFOOL THE POOR BANKERS. MR.OBAMA MAY COME TO THE INDIAN BANKERS'RESCUE. MAY BE 1% OR 2% HIGHER OFFER. UFBU...TRY, GO AHEAD...THIS MAY WORK BECAUSE IT WILL BE SHAMEFUL[?] TO CALL BACK/DEFER STRIKES AGAIN & AGAIN.
