23.02.2015: Meeting No.17
Wage revision settled at 15%(Rs. 4725 crores) w.e.f 1.11.2012.2nd and 4th Saturday's will be holidays and
other Saturday's will be full working days.
Strike deferred.Detailed circular follows.

was held in Mumbai.
• IBA BACKTRACKS FROM ITS ASSURANCE – 
        OFFERS A PALTRY 0.5% INCREASE
• UFBU DECIDES TO REVIVE THE STRIKE PROGRAMMES
• CALLS FOR 4 DAYS’ STRIKE FROM 25th to 28th FEBRUARY 2015
• INDEFINITE STRIKE FROM 16th MARCH 2015.

UFBU decided to put hold on the 4 days strike

IBA offered 13% as wage increse.
As it is not satisfactory,

followed by indefinite strike from 16.02.2015

Discussions continued today with IBA. 
UFBU insisted on further increase over 12.5%.
 IBA wanted some more time. 
Sub committees formed to deal with other issues 
like medical scheme, 5day banking, regulated working hours,
 pension issue etc.
 Next meeting to be fixed soon.

IBA told they would hold meeting
in the next week (23rd) and respond.
A nine member delegation representing all the constituents of UFBU met Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of India, today in New Delhi and submitted a Memorandum on wage revision (text appended). On hearing the views of UFBU for an expeditious wage settlement, the Minister said that he would

call for detail report on the developments of wage talks with IBA from the Departmental Secretary and give suitable advice in the matter.

Aug.2014: NCBE met Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon'ble Home Minister at New Delhi to expedite Wage Settlement, Compassionate Appointment etc. His response was positive. Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, assured to advise IBA to resume the talks on wage negotiations

05.08.2014: Delegation of NOBW /NOBO/AIGBWO and AIGBOO under the leadership of Gen. Sec. BMS and Financial Sector Incharge met with Hon'ble FM and discussed following issues : Resume 10th BP talks with IBA immediately, Compassionate ground appointment, Pension issues , formation of National Rural Bank of India, HR and IR issues of RBI and IDBI Bank and Deposit Collectors. FM assured to sort it out immediately.

In today's meeting with IBA, pension related issues and improvements in some of the other service conditions as per our charter of demands have been discussed. No discussion on wage held today.The next round of talks in the middle of April.

UFBU demanded 25% increase in pay slip cost(on Gross salary).
IBA offered only 11%.
UFBU rejected the offer.
UFBU will decide further course of action shortly.

In today's meeting UFBU suggest wage revision talks should be completed in a stipulated time . Increase in wage should be implemented from 01.11.2012. Wge increase offer should exclude pension cost, terminal benefit, hospitalisation cost. D.A at 4876 points (sep 2012) should be merged with Basic pay.
IBA explained their issues like C to C, wage talks upto Scale 3 only etc., It will inform the offer % of increase in the next meeting after consulting Govt., Also IBA offer to merge D.A at point for year 2009.

In today's meeting IBA tabled the statistics about current staff expenditure and also their issues( their demand). Next meeting may be held in the middle of May 2013. In the meantime UFBU will meet and discuss the issues raised.

Charter of demands on wage revision:
The meeting of UFBU TODAY took note that most of the Banks have given their mandate to the IBA for negotiating with the unions on the charter of demands for revision of wages and service conditions. The meeting further took note that the IBA is collecting the data from all the banks relating to numbers of employees, stage wise details, which would be the basis for making calculations on load, Item wise cost etc. In the meantime, it was expected that the IBA would commence the formal negotiations with the unions but IBA has not fixed up the date for the same. Having regard to the need for early wage revision, the meeting decided to address a letter to the IBA to commence the negotiations immediately
