ALL INDIA BANK OFFICERS’ CONFEDERATION
circular dt. 11.12.2014

Dear Comrades,
 ADAMANT ATTITUDE OF IBA – GOVERNMENT COMBINE
 FURTHER PROGRAMMES TO FOLLOW
 WARM UP EXERCISE TO COMMENCE FROM 16.12.2014
Please refer to the discussions held in Working Committee Meeting of our
Confederation held on 8th December, 2014, at New Delhi, wherein, a decision was taken to
chalk out programmes to intensify our struggle. Accordingly, the undersigned had a detaileddiscussions with other three Officers' Organisations for a common progamme which can be implemented by all the four officers’ organizations.
We are pleased to inform that a consensus has been arrived at for a common programme.
A joint communication has been issued by all four Officers' Organisations in this regard which is appended here in below:
QUOTE:

ALL INDIA BANK OFFICERS’ CONFEDERATION (AIBOC)
ALL INDIA BANK OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION (AIBOA)
INDIAN NATIONAL BANK OFFICERS’ CONGRESS (INBOC)
NATIONAL ORGANISATION OF BANK OFFICERS (NOBO)

` Dated:11/12/2014
TO ALL AFFILIATES/STATE UNITS/MEMBERS

Dear Comrades,

12th November 2014, an All India Stay out Strike by the entire workforce had evoked
no response from all concerned in the Industry. Forced back to the wall, Association/Union
representatives responded to the call of conciliation by Deputy CLC [C] on 01.12.2014 at
Mumbai, maintained a reasonable stand to commence the negotiations by IBA.
Even to facilitate the IBA to eke out an assurance from the Government authorities, we agreed to meet at 16.00 hours after a brief adjournment.

2. Our responsiveness has been treated as our weakness, it appears. As expected, IBA
failed to commit a minimum number at the end of the day and avoid the relay strikes.
Unions have been forced to adhere to the call of relay strikes from December 2 to
December 5, 2014, once again making it a resounding success, as a disciplined organization
/ constituents of UFBU.
3. To make our restlessness more pronounced, we have decided to observe the
following programmes in all State Capitals and major cities.

16.12.2014 Candle Light March
10.01.2015 Human Chain
19.01.2015 Women Rally

We advise our Units to coordinate and observe the call in a demonstrative manner to draw
the attention of authorities at various levels. Further programmes are being decided and
shall be advised soon.
Comrades, March forward to non-violence agitation as practiced by Father of the
Nation.

With Revolutionary greetings,
Yours comradely,
(sd) com. Harvinder Singh. com.S. Nagarajan. com.K.K. Nair. Com.S.U. Desphande
                 AIBOC                        AIBOA                     INBOC             NOBO

 UNQUOTE
We request all our Affiliates to implement the given programme in all State Capitals and
major cities and ensure its resounding success.
The State Committees are requested to hold meetings to finalise the venues and prepare the membership for the same and coordinate the programmes with other officers’ organizations also.
Let us all revitalize the action programme and keep the fire of movement alive
without any laxity.
The other decisions including that of a strike for three days, being a sensitive matter shall
be discussed with the Constituents of UFBU when we meet them on 17th December, 2014,
i.e. the day of Conciliation meeting to be held at Mumbai.
We once again appeal all our affiliates and state units to make the programmes grand success jointly with other officers’ Organizations.

With revolutionary greetings,

Yours comradely,
 (HARVINDER SINGH)

 GENERAL SECRETARY

Ok..comrades we support the programme, but I suggest that this is the need of hour to highlight our problems, difficulties, stress and other grievances to the public through MEDIA.when govt policies and public welfare and development both economical and non economical activities are being routed through BANKING INDUSTRY why the IBA and GOVT not understanding this problem.Since 2001 bank staff are suffering with many hardships.working conditions are become worst and people are afraiding of join the industry.if they dont open their eyes even now nobody can save this industry.even Mrs Arundhati Bhattacharya SBI Chief declared to day PSU bankers are being less paid comparatively.
please highlight these things through media conduct rallies public meetings, meet all MPs and ministers and submit memorandum.

Where is your revolutionary spirit camrades only calling camrade is not a essential for being revolutionary, make your presence felt with revolution not mocking by candle light march

No future for bankers

This is rubbish. Why we will loose our salary for this nonsense. There was time when Union was formed to take up our matters with management and government. I think now we have to form some other group or take some steps to take up our issues with Union as Union is not aware of what aam Banker wants. And for all this nonsense, they had done they want LEVY. Bull shit

After January 19, (sorry i forgot the delaying time 1 month), ok, february 20 we can plan next step of strike.

2) 11-03-14 - 24 Hours hard work & don't take salary & we forcefully pay 1 day salary to bank.

Leaders call indefinite strike..........

Don't think IBA is ill-treating the employees, it is the union leaders are ill-treating their own members by cheating us. Before agreeing any settlement with IBA, let the Unions take oath that they will not collect levy from the members. If at all they need any levy, calculate the levy not on arrears, but on the difference of salary before and after settlement.

All youngsters u guys please jump to some other jobs, don't lay eggs in bank.
dont believe these unions etc, just start prepare and go away from banking industry, this is a modern slave industry.

Dear leaders why are we afraid to go on indefinite strike if we really want to let the iba n govt at least know that we are human being where they throw all their dust particle and we are to wash al that the whole day x whole week x whole year with only few leaves possible so r u all leaders listening to our cry...........

Anonymous said...

Why not this time our unions president and sectrary go for hunger strike. They always make us fool. First of all they should tell us the progress of previous strikes and marches. So this time only take hard decision.

What the hell leaders r talking . Certainly you are corrupt and beneficiary of corrupt practices of top management like jain and IOB. You r holding post merely to feed your own interests otherwise if it would have been a challanging job without monetary benefit all you might have not joined unions. I request CBI to enquire assets of these goons and send them in kalapani particularly To convener of UFBU because he is best servent of his masters and a billionaire union leader.

Anonymous said...

Sir cal indefinite strike. ..unless no impact on IBA and no use for one day strike. .

Anonymous said...

I am aghast at the step taken by the unions...This is how they plan to put pressure on the unresponsive IBA and the govt. Such spineless steps are actually emboldening IBA .This drama of bipattriate settlement should be done away with and pay commission should be brought in for pay parity...Sorry to say but Bankers are donkeys to the govt. The gullible bankers are taken for a ride by the Unions and the IBA.

Anonymous said...

Rightly .. media exposure to the risks and responsibilities of bank staff is the only way. That too comparing the same with the central govt clerical cadre whose only job is to enter data and documentation.

Really "appreciate" the "aggressive" steps taken by UFBU for wage revision.
1. Candle light march (If somebody has died , or for peace we do this. Of course let some discontended banker commit suicide then the same will be justified)
2. Human chain : (Chain from morning to evening or til settlement is passed ? For me it looks like a waste of time and just a publicity gimmick )
3. Womens march : Might make a small impact but then too would be a good show for all the bystanders.

As almost all the agitation methods are used, what's next?

Anonymous said...

candle light march you say .....hmmm..not a bad idea though if you shove the candles up your misrable a**

Anonymous said...

Congrats..... We r ready to wait one more year...Ha ha

Unknown said...

Even after 2 yrs people r not so serious... Waste of doing these useless programme...do. U think iba or govt will see ur shows which is worth less

Anonymous said...

When oil tankers and Neyveli Lignite Corporation can call for indefinite strike why UFBU is afraid of such tactics even after patient waiting of two years. Are union leaders worried about imprisonment. Comrades sacrifice something to achieve just demands raised collectively by UFBU. Think of Parvana his sacrifice and start marching ahead. If any union leader considers himself as misfit and incompetent please pave way for other comrades to take load of yours

Anonymous said...

Ubfu is wasting our time. If it is doing like tthi, we have to wait for another 2 to 3 years for wage settlement. So think of new union for youngster

Anonymous said...

SERIOUSLY??? Candle march. Are u kidding?? Do these union leaders smoke pots and then sit for theses so called "meetings". These peple are watching too many movies these days. Waise kaam to kuch hota nhi hai karne ko. All the other morons also agreed to support this program. Bravo u s#it head leaders.

Anonymous said...

Please remember Gandhi ji. Non -operation is the need of the hour. Do not do what your govt says. You opened account numbers as a devil. IBA is now deaf and dumb to your cries.

Anonymous said...

Ha ha .......u all leaders are corrupt.shame on u .......shame on ufbu ...

Dis strike thing is bullshit go for indefinite strike if u wan some outcome of dis.
